If you were given a choice between breaking your arm in a mountain bike crash, having your fingernails pulled out by a foreign interrogator, or racing in Primal Quest Utah, which would you choose? Here’s my answer: the fingernails would hurt a lot, but only for a few minutes. The broken arm would hurt a little longer, but then there’s those fun pills the doctor gives you. Primal Quest Utah, on the other hand…pure, unadulterated pain and suffering for eight straight days. No thanks. That’s not to say I didn’t appreciate the event.
